Fundraising made easy first steps

WHY: Fundraising addresses critical needs and supports causes like healthcare, education, disaster relief, environmental protection, community development, and animal welfare. It enables positive change by providing resources for organizations and individuals to tackle challenges and improve lives worldwide.

How do I Start

Starting a fundraiser might feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! Here’s a simple roadmap to help you begin:
Choose Your Cause: Identify what you’re passionate about and who or what you want to support.
Set Clear Goals: Decide how much money you aim to raise and what the funds will be used for.
Pick a Platform: Choose a fundraising platform (like GoFundMe, Kickstarter, or a local organization) to host your campaign.
Create Your Story: Write a compelling narrative explaining your cause, why it matters, and how donors will make a difference.
Spread the Word: Share your fundraiser widely—on social media, with friends, and in local communities.
I’d love to help you brainstorm any of these steps further! What’s your cause, and how can I support you in launching it?

sharing your campaign

Fundraising – What has gone wrong??!!

3.  You share on  Social Media – you get no donations!!!!!!!

There are various reasons why your campaign doesn’t succeed over Social Media

Let’s have a closer look

  • There are Millions of people on Social media with donation requests – You have strong competition
  • You are an Anonymous person in an Anonymous World – Would you give an unknown person money just like that?
  • Your feedback and comments are plentiful – They lead you to services that allegedly boost your campaign – Watch it!!!
We have a closer look at this point just below!

Fundraising – It is in Danger

4.  Scamming and Fraud on Social Media

There are plenty of people commenting to help – Watch the Scammers Here are some Samples

  • They will try to sell you lists and services.
  • They will say they are “moved” or similar by your campaign.
  • They might flatter you telling you are smart or brilliant or call you “dear.”
  • They will ask if you own the campaign.
  • They will say they truly want to help you.
  • They might refer to a link Wa.me.
  • They might tell you your campaign “isn’t visible” or that the link doesn’t work
  • They will ask you to private message, inbox, or friend them.
  • They will say they have some ideas and want to go over them with you.
Fundraising fraud

Identify Scammers – Check their profiles

  • Account is new – no content or Ai created –
  • They claim their own Campaigns. Check the Campaign and location of Organiser vs. Location of profile – they will differ
  • Location is set to USAMost friends are from Africa/Asia
  • Profile indicates they are Crowd Funding Experts (That’s and easy one).
  • Common Names like Mary Rose, John Fund, Michelle Crowd Tom Jones
  • Nice pictures of family or older couple recently added but several time.
  • Studied in Harvard – lives in LA- studied at Oxford lives in London and no other info on their schooling
Facebook Check

What is the Methodology behind all this: Someone is trying to lurk you into a private conversation, away from the public comments, using either Messenger or giving you a WhatsApp link. They start with an easy smooth talk, trying to convince to that they have someone that helped their own campaign, or tell you they are a Crowd Funding Specialist with great expertise. promises reach from rebuilding your campaign or even posting with a possible list of thousands of prospective donors. Of course you charged up-front ranging from $50 and more.

Don’t respond – it may cost you money – you will you occupied for hours in conversations, because they talk and talk to win you over and extract money from you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
